About The Position

We are looking for a top-notch Banquet Manager to lead a variety of high-end events throughout the year aligned with our world-class Howdy Hospitality. The Banquet Manager will supervise the overall operations for the food and beverage services required for on-site catered events and off-site catered events, which include food service, beverage service, and event set-up. This role is responsible for championing a culture focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences across all outlets, ensuring consistently high guest satisfaction scores and online review ratings. The position involves actively engaging with guests, resolving service concerns promptly, and establishing service standards that exceed expectations. The Outlet General Manager will also lead initiatives to enhance guest loyalty and community engagement. Financially, the role requires achieving annual revenue, profit, and flow-through goals for all outlets, managing labor costs through effective scheduling and staffing, and controlling beverage costs and operating expenses through purchasing discipline, inventory management, and waste reduction. Analysis of financial statements and performance trends is crucial for developing strategies to improve profitability. Leadership responsibilities include recruiting, training, coaching, and developing high-performing teams, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. The Outlet General Manager is expected to make team development a top operational priority, including developing and maintaining comprehensive onboarding and training programs. Revenue growth and business development involve creating and executing revenue-generating initiatives, programming, and promotional events to drive traffic and increase average guest spend. Collaboration with hotel leadership to maximize internal guest capture and outlet utilization is also key. Marketing and community engagement include partnering with the Marketing team on promotional campaigns and supporting local partnerships. Beverage program management encompasses overseeing inventory, ordering, cost controls, and profitability, partnering with vendors, and maintaining quality standards. Operational excellence requires ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and continuously evaluating processes for efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive restaurant or hospitality management experience.
  • Proven success managing restaurant, bar, and high-volume beverage operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing labor and controllable expenses.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop management teams.
  • Experience driving revenue growth through promotions, events, and guest engagement initiatives.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Participate in hotel-wide initiatives that drive food and beverage visibility and performance.
  • Oversee beverage operations including inventory management, ordering, cost controls, and profitability.
  • Partner with vendors and distributors to optimize product selection and pricing.
  • Maintain beverage quality standards and ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations.
  • Develop innovative beverage promotions and seasonal offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Maintain outstanding cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards across all outlets.
  • Continuously evaluate processes for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Monitor staffing levels, service execution, and operational readiness.
  • Serve as Manager-on-Duty as required.
