Outlet Team Lead at Colerain
About The Position
The Outlet Team Lead assists the Outlet General Manager and Outlet Assistant Manager with the overall operation of the Goodwill Outlet. The role supports customer service, record keeping, cash management, production, donation management, facility operations, communications, merchandising, and inventory control. The position trains and delegates work to Outlet Team Members and provides coaching and direction on job-related responsibilities. It requires a flexible schedule to support store opening, production, and closing operations, along with regular, predictable attendance as business demands dictate.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in English with customers and associates.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule supporting store opening, production, and closing operations.
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing for prolonged periods.
- Ability to sit or stand for eight hours.
- Ability to bend and twist.
- Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in a confined area and in moderate noise.
- Ability to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Close vision ability for computer work.
- Regular, predictable attendance as business demands dictate.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Outlet General Manager and Outlet Assistant Manager with overall store operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including reporting theft, misuse of company property, or other illegal activities.
- Resolve customer complaints fairly and impartially, referring unresolved disputes to the store manager.
- Train, coach, supervise, and provide corrective direction to Outlet associates on job-related responsibilities.
- Recommend disciplinary or corrective action to the Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Monitor sales transactions and ensure sales associates follow proper sales procedures.
- Handle escalated or complex sales and customer-related issues.
- Inspect and validate production pricing and quality.
- Ensure the production team works at a pace that supports production goals.
- Merchandise displays and create appealing product presentations to support sales and customer experience.
- Contribute ideas for themed displays, promotions, and special events to attract customers and increase store traffic.
- Participate in store walkthroughs and assessments to identify merchandising opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Support day-to-day store operations, including inventory counts, pricing, and customer service.
