Responsibilities

Take guests’ orders.
Run food.
Handle cash and other forms of payment.
Complete sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
Check identification for guests who appear to be under 30 years old.
Demonstrate responsible alcohol service.
Demonstrate product knowledge.
Use proven suggestive-selling techniques.
Answer questions accurately and politely.
Satisfy guests’ needs and regularly check back with them throughout their experience.
Maintain a clean and organized station, including pre-bussing and table maintenance.
Perform opening, closing, and side duties, including setting up and breaking down the station, refilling condiments, and cleaning ashtrays.
Know all table and station numbers.
Direct guests to areas and restrooms.
