To greet and welcome guests to outlet, assist in seating and maintaining organization and order within the restaurant. Provide quality products, excellent service and a friendly atmosphere for all customers. Operate MICROS computer systems. Greet customers using eye to eye contact when they enter with a smiling friendly manner. Seat customers to their satisfaction by rotating stations for servers. Answer telephone within 3 rings using appropriate time of day greeting. Receive reservations and post in reservation book. Parties of 10 or more will be taken by management, if management is not available, get name and telephone number and the Manager or Assistant Manager will contact. Keep accurate seating charts. Check cleanliness of tables, chairs and floors, doors, windows, menus, report to manager need for new menus. Converse with customers, report any complaints to manager. Help restaurant employees if needed by pre bussing tables or clearing and resetting. Check computer systems for paper each shift. Restock all needed items for station and for deli area. Maintain proper sanitation, safety procedures and cleanliness in work area. Follow all policies and procedures outlined by Manager and the employee handbook. Act as an extension of the security department in protecting the assets of the hotel and all guests by observing and reporting and questionable activity. Assume all responsibilities as delegated by the Manager and do any or all other duties that may be required to fulfill customer needs and requests. Attend all meetings and complete online trainings. Thank the guests as they depart with inviting them back for their next meal or visit. Must understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort. Other duties as assigned.
