About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Outdoor Grounds Keeper to maintain the grounds outside the resort building. The role includes trimming grass, trees, and shrubs; removing and planting a variety of plants; removing snow and hazards or obstructions; and maintaining clean, safe, visually appealing outdoor spaces that create a welcoming first impression for guests. The position also emphasizes avoiding guest inconvenience during repairs or maintenance.
Requirements
- Knowledge of planting and shrub maintenance.
Nice To Haves
- One year of landscape experience is helpful.
- Previous experience with exterior plant maintenance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain plants and grounds, including picking up trash and watering plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers as necessary.
- Trim, prune, fertilize, and maintain trees, plants, and shrubs on the grounds.
- Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following manufacturer preventive-maintenance programs.
- Maintain resort grounds so guests are not inconvenienced by repairs or maintenance.
- Remove snow, hazards, and obstructions.
