About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Grounds Staff - Maintenance associate to maintain outdoor grounds and keep them clean, safe, and visually appealing. Duties include caring for plants and landscaping, removing trash and hazards, and handling snow removal. The role helps create a welcoming first impression for guests and maintain resort grounds without inconveniencing guests during repairs or maintenance.
Requirements
- Knowledge of planting and shrub maintenance is required.
- One year of landscape experience is helpful.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with exterior plant maintenance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain grounds and plants, including picking up trash and watering plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers as needed.
- Trim, prune, fertilize, and maintain trees, plants, and shrubs.
- Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspections and manufacturer-recommended preventive maintenance.
- Maintain resort grounds so guests are not inconvenienced by repairs or maintenance.
- Remove snow, hazards, and obstructions.
- Plant and remove various types of plants.
