We are seeking an Outdoor Dining Food Runner to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. This role is designated for our oceanfront restaurant, Breeze Ocean Kitchen.

Requirements

• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding
• Ability to provide legible communication
• Ability to understand guest’s service needs
• Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service several guests within any given period of time
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
• Ability to perform physical responsibilities, including lifting and transporting items of varying weights, with or without accommodation

Nice To Haves

• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service
• Certification in Alcohol awareness program
• Certification in Food Handlers program

Responsibilities

• Servicing guests
• Assisting with functions for the server(s)
• Delivering food to guest tables according to hotel specification, courteously and efficiently
• Assisting in the maintenance of the restaurant, pool area and equipment
• Providing lateral service when necessary
• Transport food items to the bar, dining room in timely manner and also to the lounge as needed
• Check the food chit and serve food to guests without asking
