About The Position

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and experienced operations professional who will play multiple critical roles in supporting Outcome Driven Strategies (ODS), the Separately Managed Account platform for Structured Investments. This position sits at the intersection of portfolio management, trading, operations, and client services, helping ensure accounts are invested efficiently, trades are executed accurately, and structured note portfolios are monitored throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of experience in trading and investment operations, portfolio administration
  • Familiar with fixed income, structured products, alternative investments, or managed account platforms
  • Understanding of trade settlement, corporate actions, and portfolio reconciliation processes
  • Experience in a "client-facing" operational role; comfortable translating complex issues into clear updates for advisors
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Data Lookups) and familiar with portfolio accounting systems
  • Strong coordination across portfolio managers, issuing banks, custodians, advisors, and internal systems
  • Demonstrated ability to balance operational excellence with an investment-oriented mindset while solving complex challenges in a growing asset management environment

Responsibilities

  • Execute structured note trades in accordance with ODS portfolio construction guidelines and trading procedures.
  • Prepare and review trade allocation files, account-level trading proposals, and validate allocations across SMA and UMA accounts.
  • Support note purchase cycles, reinvestment activity, portfolio rebalancing, cash deployment, and liquidity management.
  • Coordinate reinvestment of proceeds from maturities, calls, coupon payments, contributions, and distributions.
  • Coordinate trade execution and settlement activities with partner banks, including final terms, notional amounts, trade confirmations, and settlement instructions.
  • Maintain compliance with portfolio guidelines, including position concentration limits, issuer exposure limits, credit quality requirements, and liquidity thresholds.
  • Coordinate RFP and DDQ responses to support broker-dealer onboarding and due diligence processes.
  • Identify operational efficiencies, technology enhancements, and scalable solutions to support ODS growth, new strategy launches, and network expansion requirements.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for financial advisors and platform partners, responding to account, trade, cash management, and portfolio implementation inquiries.
  • Coordinate resolution of account-level issues across custodians, advisors, and internal stakeholders while delivering a high-touch client service experience.
  • Generate client, advisor, and internal management reporting, including dashboards, KPI tracking, and operational analytics.
  • Support compliance reviews, audits, due diligence initiatives, marketing requests, and other data reporting needs.
  • Maintain and enhance operational procedures, controls, and documentation.
