Outbound Warehouse Manager (Onsite)
About The Position
The Outbound Warehouse Manager oversees and manages outbound warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and shipping outgoing products. The role focuses on order accuracy, workplace safety, and optimizing outbound logistics to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. The manager oversees outbound orders and shipment preparation, manages outbound inventory records and control systems, and maintains quality standards in staging and shipping. The role also establishes and monitors operational KPIs, coordinates with vendors and carriers, identifies and implements process improvements, and collaborates with other departments to ensure outgoing orders are processed accurately and on time. The manager addresses operational issues, including shipping confirmations. This is an onsite position with 10% travel. The listed annual salary range is $102,600–$171,000 USD.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 8 years of logistics experience.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of people leadership experience.
- Certifications in warehouse management or logistics, such as Certified Warehouse Manager or Certified Supply Chain Professional.
Responsibilities
- Oversee efficient and accurate shipment of outbound orders.
- Ensure proper staging, inspection, and documentation of outgoing goods.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of outbound inventory.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track and manage inventory levels.
- Maintain product quality and accuracy standards in staging and shipping.
- Implement quality-control processes to minimize errors and discrepancies.
- Establish and track KPIs for outbound warehouse operations.
- Analyze performance data and implement improvements as needed.
- Manage relationships with vendors and carriers.
- Coordinate outbound shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of outgoing orders.
- Address and resolve issues related to outbound warehouse operations, including shipping confirmations.
