About The Position

Ryder is immediately hiring for a Permanent Operations Technician II Wave Clerk in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This is a warehouse position that pays weekly. The hourly pay is $20.50 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for working the mid shift. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. Ryder is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join them in working in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment. The products being handled are engine and HVAC parts. Equipment used includes cherry picker/order picker, WMS, and computer. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years warehouse experience
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
Working knowledge of WMS systems
Forklift experience
Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
Create and maintain daily dock schedules
Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve any problems with the day's orders
Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
Perform other duties as required or assigned
