About The Position

The Warehouse Outbound Manager will oversee the daily functions of the outbound team, including supervising, training, delegating, and more. This role involves managing all functions of the outbound shift, ensuring processes, procedures, and team members operate efficiently and safely. The manager is responsible for verifying attendance and duties, ensuring accurate and safe order fulfillment, and maintaining production quotas for timely performance.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of previous warehouse experience or fast-paced management experience preferred.
  • 2 years of previous Warehouse Management System (WMS), Radio Frequency (RF), or related experience preferred.
  • OSHA Certified preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead outbound shift warehouse employees and serve as a coach and mentor to include constructive and timely performance evaluations, appraising performance, and resolving issues.
  • Manage all functions of outbound shift to include processes, procedures, and team members.
  • Verify nightly attendance and duties of production personnel to include full and part-time team members.
  • Accurately, consistently, and safely follows/gives direction; involved in stock rotation or transferring of cases to various locations throughout the warehouse and/or in loading or unloading of trucks.
  • Operating various pieces of warehouse equipment (Forklifts, Clamp Pickers, Electric Floor jacks, etc.) to include daily maintenance.
  • Supervises safe and proper picking/filling of customer orders to complete loading of delivery trucks.
  • Minimizes the potential for product breakage.
  • Observes safe product handling techniques.
  • Ensure all delivery vehicles are loaded safely and efficiently in preparation for next day deliveries.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the orders fulfilled by the pickers.
  • Ensure that the team maintains production quota to produce timely performance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members and management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
