The Selector II is a key member of the warehouse team responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing customer orders for delivery. This role requires a higher level of skill and responsibility, demonstrating increased efficiency, accuracy, and the ability to handle more complex orders. Requirements

  • Proven ability to accurately and efficiently select orders with minimal errors.
  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and voice-directed picking systems.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) frequently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when selecting and staging orders.
  • Strong awareness of safety procedures and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and assist in training new team members.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Voice-directed picking system training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately select and gather products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders using pick sheets, voice-directed systems, or other order fulfillment technologies.
  • Ensure the correct quantity, quality, and product codes are selected for each order.
  • Stage selected products for loading onto delivery trucks in a timely and organized manner, optimizing space utilization.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or discrepancies in inventory to supervisors.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and voice-directed picking systems.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
  • May assist in training new selectors on safe work practices and order selection procedures.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
