About The Position

AP Plumbing is seeking a motivated Outbound Sales Representative for their Rochester, NY location. The Inside Sales representative develops prospects and interacts with existing customers, primarily by phone. Using a list provided to you, you would be working to increase sales for AP Plumbing's service and install departments. For over 30 years, AP Plumbing has worked diligently to meet the plumbing needs of homeowners and businesses in the Rochester and Syracuse communities. AP is one of the nation's largest privately held plumbing contractors and services thousands of clients a year. Requirements

High school diploma required
Two or more years of proven experience in inside sales
Track record of meeting or exceeding inside sales goals
Solid interpersonal skills
Results driven
Self-directed initiative
Strong work values
Effective problem solving
Comfortable sitting for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

College degree in a related area such as Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, English, etc. preferred
Plumbing knowledge or experience a plus

Responsibilities

Generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails from leads
Understand customer needs and requirements to successfully fulfill their expectations
Build strong relationships with customers
Maintain customer database with accuracy and precision
Work with Install, Service, and Sales teams to schedule appointments
Meet monthly department goals
Demonstrate an outstanding level of professionalism
