About The Position

The Outbound Business Development Representative is a key driver of creating qualified sales opportunities by expertly managing outbound sales strategies. This role focuses on proactive lead generation, targeting specific high-value accounts, and penetrating deeper into the market to fuel the sales pipeline and contribute to Simpro Group's growth. The role is an outbound hunter, calling into named accounts and earning the meeting. The company invests heavily in coaching, enablement, and the tools that make a BDR successful, expecting high performance in return. The reps who do this well become the best sellers in the building. The company promotes from within, with opportunities to move into Account Executive, Specialist Seller, or Account Manager roles. This is a 5-day in-office position in Red Bank, which is considered a feature for development, allowing for real-time coaching and peer practice. The role offers visibility with sales leadership, marketing, product, and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in sales technologies and CRM tools
  • Capacity for strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs
  • Ability to research and personalize outreach based on industry, role, and account-level insights
