About The Position

The Business Development – Outside Specialist is responsible for proactively sourcing real estate opportunities to support current and future brand expansion. This role will focus heavily on outbound landlord outreach, identifying off‑market and early‑stage site opportunities, and building a strong pipeline through consistent, disciplined prospecting. The ideal candidate is highly comfortable with cold calling, thrives in a task‑driven environment, and brings strong attention to detail and follow‑through.

Requirements

  • 2+ Years of experience in Sales or account management
  • Associates Degree, Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related fields preferred
  • Strong comfort level with high‑volume cold calling and outbound prospecting
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and task follow‑through
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily activity goals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic CRM or tracking tools

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in real estate, business development, sales, or acquisition support
  • Familiarity with retail real estate fundamentals and landlord relationships
  • Experience working in a high‑volume, metric‑driven environment
  • Sales, inside sales, or outbound call center experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Proactively outreach to landlords, developers, and property owners via cold calling, email, and follow‑ups
  • Identify potential real estate opportunities aligned with brand growth strategies
  • Build and maintain a consistent outbound call cadence to generate new site leads
  • Track outreach activity, responses, and opportunities in CRM or internal trackers
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities before passing to the Real Estate team
  • Maintain organized records of contacts, notes, and next actions
  • Coordinate with internal Real Estate and Development teams
  • Support pipeline reporting and market coverage initiatives as needed
