About The Position
Carle Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Otolaryngologist to join an established Otolaryngology practice in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. This is a full-time opportunity within a busy, established practice with a large referral base, located in a large, state-of-the-art facility. The system currently offers subspecialty services in Adult and Pediatric Otology/Neurotology, Head/Neck Oncology, Microvascular Reconstruction, and Rhinology. The onsite team includes two BC Otolaryngologists, two Advanced Practice Providers, and two in-clinic Adult Audiologists. The role offers a comprehensive breadth of cases across all age groups and a well-established hospitalist program. Surgeries will primarily be performed at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, a 200-bed Magnet-designated hospital, with some surgeries at The Center for Outpatient Medicine, an AAAHC-accredited surgery center. There are also opportunities for involvement with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
Requirements
- Must have completed training at an ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology residency program.
- Must have skills and interest in comprehensive Otolaryngology.
- BE/BC Otolaryngologist
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology, Rhinology, or Laryngology is desirable but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive Otolaryngology care to patients of all ages.
- Perform a majority of surgeries at Carle BroMenn Medical Center.
- Perform some surgeries at The Center for Outpatient Medicine.
- Collaborate with a team of 7 Otolaryngologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the growth of the practice.
- Potentially engage in opportunities with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
