About The Position

Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and regulatory compliance. Maintain budgeting, forecasting, and internal control processes to ensure accurate financial information.

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or related accounting roles.
• Proficiency with accounting software and enterprise resource planning systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and pivot tables.
• Working knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts, monitor variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain general ledger integrity.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Collaborate with departments to provide financial guidance, cost analysis, and project evaluations.
