Your Role as an OT Your responsibilities will include: Assess and evaluate the student population; implement and interpret diagnostic test materials; and complete paperwork requirements for initial evaluations, annual reviews, and three year re-evaluations. Develop and implement appropriate occupational therapy goals for assigned students in the School program in collaboration with the IEP team. Provide direct treatment in a one-on-one and group setting and maintain daily notes on student progress toward IEP goals. Frequently monitor sensory programs utilized in the classroom and consult with teachers on best programming for students. Assist in teaching and modeling for staff appropriate sensory integration techniques and proactive strategies to meet students' sensory needs.
