OT Tech, Acute Care Rehab Services
About The Position
Baptist Health Rehab Services provides a full range of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services for all ages. Our therapists and assistants are trained in treating neurological, orthopedic, vestibular, lymphedema, pediatrics, industrial medicine, swallowing, and speech and language disorders. The Physical / Occupational Therapy Technician works only under on-site supervision of a therapist / PTA. Technician is responsible for aiding the Physical / Occupational Therapists and Assistants with safe patient care. Technician will prepare the patient and/or the area for treatment. He/she is responsible for maintaining the physical order of the department. Technician will assist in transporting patients as needed. Technician will assist with clerical duties and the orientation of new employees and volunteers as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Aiding the Physical / Occupational Therapists and Assistants with safe patient care.
