About The Position
SG Energy Solutions is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented OSM Network Technician to support Onsite Monitoring (OSM) projects as a remote 1099 contractor. The role involves installing and commissioning OSM systems at customer sites across the U.S. and internationally, with extensive travel. Recent graduates and applicants with hardware or troubleshooting experience are encouraged to apply. Requirements
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- At least 1 year of hardware or troubleshooting experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Basic understanding of networking, server hardware, and IT troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and safely perform physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and passport, with a clean driving record.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively, including internationally.
- Safety-conscious, professional, and friendly demeanor.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote contractor capacity.

Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between customers, GE, and SG Energy Solutions to support communication and project execution.
- Support the timely installation and commissioning of Onsite Monitoring systems at customer sites.
- Identify and troubleshoot IT issues to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.
- Manage procurement activities, including obtaining vendor quotes and tracking project costs.
- Complete and maintain Server Reports and other required documentation.
- Assist with hardware troubleshooting, system setup, and configuration.
- Follow safety protocols and best practices during onsite activities.
- Travel extensively within the U.S. and internationally to customer sites to support timely project delivery.
