About The Position

The Network Administrator II works onsite at the Carthage South Branch, 2417 S Grand. The position generally works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; hours may change, and work outside those hours will occur. Remote work is not available. The role supports bank personnel, prepares and tests PCs before installation at locations, and works with virtualized servers in a VMware environment. Travel to other facilities may be required. Other duties may arise, and duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice.

This is a moderately sedentary position involving sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, and occasionally carrying up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CompTIA A+ certification or similar.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on organizational needs.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to continually learn and apply knowledge to daily tasks.
• Professional communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Windows 10.
• Willingness to adapt to changes in schedules, tasks, and duties on short notice.
• Willingness to learn and follow bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answer the support line and take calls from bank personnel.
• Learn and perform PC upgrades and installations as needed.
• Set up new PCs and test their functionality onsite before installation at locations.
• Work with virtualized servers in a VMware environment.
• Travel to other facilities when required.
• Perform other duties as situations arise.
