About The Position

Join us at Helping Hands Eumundi as an OSHC Coordinator and lead a team of passionate Educators while making a real impact on the lives of children! This permanent, full-time role offers 38 hours per week, including 8 non-contact paid admin hours. You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: 6:30-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 2:30-6:00pm (Stay and Play). As a Coordinator, you’ll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership: Design and lead a vibrant, child‑centred program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts. Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration, with time allocated to do this well. Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver. Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive. Be supported by experienced Regional Managers and a dedicated Support Office so you’re never doing it alone.

Requirements

  • Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
  • A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow.
  • Strong communication skills—you’ll be leading by example!
  • A team player who inspires others and encourages growth.
  • You have (or are willing to obtain) a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Australian work rights.
