About The Position

This permanent, part-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role. Service Location: Oran Park NSW, 2570. You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: Before school care: 7am-9am, After school care: 2.30pm-6.30pm, Admin: 8 hours. Total hours: 38. As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.

Requirements

Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
Completion of mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!
Thorough background checks, reference checks, and screening to ensure commitment to safeguarding children.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education.
