About The Position

NovaCare Prosthetics and Orthotics is seeking a healthcare professional to select, fit, and adjust orthotic devices and educate patients on their use and function. The role is suited to a detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication skills and exceptional technical ability. The position is full-time in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with a Monday–Friday schedule and compensation of $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Exceptional technical ability.
• Detail-oriented and self-starting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an Orthotic Fitter.
• ABC or BOC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and fit custom orthotic devices to help patients achieve mobility and rehabilitation goals.
• Adapt orthotic solutions to each patient's condition and needs.
• Maintain an organized workflow to support timely patient appointments, fittings, and device delivery.
• Uphold a commitment to patient outcomes and quality care.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to refer patients who require higher levels of care.
• Assist with projects and other responsibilities as needed.
• Educate patients on the use and function of orthotic devices.
• Select, fit, and adjust orthotic devices.
