About The Position

Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join their growing orthopedic surgery team. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient outcomes. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries, including complex fractures, pelvic and acetabular injuries, periarticular fractures, non-unions, malunions, and polytrauma-related orthopedic conditions. The position offers access to advanced surgical technology, dedicated trauma operating room time, and a robust referral network.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Experience in managing complex trauma cases.
Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive evaluation and surgical management of orthopedic trauma patients.
Participate in trauma call coverage and emergency orthopedic services.
Perform operative and non-operative treatment of acute musculoskeletal injuries.
Collaborate with trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, intensivists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers, residents, and medical students, as applicable.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.
Contribute to departmental growth through clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and community engagement.
