A premier hospital-employed orthopedic surgery program in Ohio is seeking a skilled Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon to join a thriving team with exceptional earning potential and comprehensive benefits. This Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon position offers first-year earning potential of $1 million or more, combining a competitive base salary (up to $908K) with performance-based bonuses. The role focuses on a full spectrum of sports medicine procedures with opportunities to expand service lines and increase income through productivity incentives.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Sports Medicine (preferred)
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Ohio
- Demonstrated expertise in arthroscopy and sports injury procedures
- Strong surgical skills in knee and shoulder arthroscopic techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a hospital-employed orthopedic team
- Commitment to evidence-based orthopedic care and patient outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Perform sports medicine orthopedic procedures including shoulder arthroscopy, knee arthroscopy, and joint reconstruction
- Conduct ligament reconstruction surgeries (ACL, PCL, and other ligament repairs)
- Perform meniscus repair and cartilage restoration procedures
- Provide comprehensive orthopedic care in both clinic and surgical settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary orthopedic team and referral network
- Develop and expand sports medicine service lines within the hospital system
- Treat sports injuries and perform minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures
- Opportunity to expand expertise into elbow arthroscopy and hip arthroscopy
- Participate in a balanced weekday schedule with early dismissal on Fridays

- Annual Salary: $750,000 - $1,000,000+ (first year earning potential including base and productivity bonuses)
- Base Salary: Up to $908,000
- Sign-On Bonus: $100,000
- Performance Bonus: Up to $90,000 annually
