About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site position designed for an Associate-level physician who is ready to provide high-quality surgical care and patient management in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Locum Orthopedic Surgeon, you will play a critical role in diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions, performing surgical procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive treatment plans. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and support the continued growth of our medical practice.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or active board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state where the position is located
  • Completed residency training in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Strong surgical skills and experience in managing a wide range of orthopedic cases
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site medical practice environment
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based patient care
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Must be board-certified
  • Accepting new grads or experienced surgeons

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
  • Develop and implement individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans
  • Perform orthopedic surgical procedures in accordance with best practices
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including follow-up consultations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options, recovery, and prevention
  • Participate in on-site clinical duties, including emergency consultations as needed
  • Adhere to medical practice protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
