About The Position

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join their growing practice. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality, equitable orthopedic care to patients across all socioeconomic backgrounds, utilizing a financially stable, rapidly growing private practice model that prioritizes access, innovation, and excellence. This role offers an opportunity to serve underserved communities within a thriving, forward-thinking practice and make a lasting impact. The position includes an established caseload, expansion into new offices, an innovative care model, potential for long-term equity, diverse case exposure (Sports Medicine, Total Joint Replacement, Shoulder, Hip, Knee, Hand & Wrist, Back, Elbow, Neck & Spine), multidisciplinary support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and additional career growth opportunities in clinical research, product development, and team physician roles. Partnership with a leading health system provides resources and support.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O.
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in General Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Hand, Spine, Foot & Ankle, or Total Joint
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Illinois
  • Proficiency in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery (preferred for hand specialists)
  • Expertise in Microsurgical Techniques, including complex hand, wrist, and nerve repair (ideal for hand surgeons)
