About The Position

Growing healthcare system is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon in Statesville, NC (40 mins from Charlotte!). This opportunity is with a prominent healthcare organization nestled 35 miles north of Charlotte, North Carolina. The system is anchored by a 247-bed hospital and is a longstanding 501c3 organization deeply rooted in its community for 70 years. This opportunity would allow you to live in the gorgeous, highly sought after Lake Norman area, with over 500 miles of shoreline. The network boasts 27 practices, comprised of 12 primary care clinics, 10 specialty groups, 3 ambulatory surgery centers and 2 urgent cares. The Healthcare System has over 1,600 full/part/PRN staff members and over 175 licensed providers. The role is an employed position within a group that has 2 other Ortho Surgeons. They are seeking an adult reconstruction surgeon capable of doing general orthopedics, TKA, THA, etc. The role will involve a blend of clinic and OR days, with call shared among the team. The EMR system used is Cerner.

Requirements

NC Medical License and DEA, eligible
Must be BE/BC
Requires current BLS Certification
No board sanctions or actions in last 10 years
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
