About The Position

This is an outstanding opportunity for a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Total Joint and Hip Surgeon to step into a high-demand, established practice with immediate patient volume, advanced surgical technology, strong APP support, and access to a robust orthopedic team. Practice in one of Southern California's most desirable destinations while enjoying the resources of a large health system and the autonomy of a thriving orthopedic program. The position is focused on adult reconstruction, total joint replacement, and hip surgery, and is a new growth position due to increasing regional demand for orthopedic services. The role involves a balanced practice with approximately 50% clinic and 50% surgical/operative responsibilities, high-volume patient encounters, and shared orthopedic call at a Level I Trauma Center. Collaboration with a large and experienced orthopedic team, including strong APP support, is expected. Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction, Total Joint Replacement, Hip & Knee Arthroplasty, or related specialty required.
Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure.
Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Desert Regional Medical Center and JFK Memorial Hospital.
Residents and fellows are not currently being considered for this opportunity.

Demonstrated expertise in primary and revision total joint procedures.
Experience utilizing robotic-assisted technology.

Responsibilities

Perform adult reconstruction, total joint replacement, and hip surgery.
Manage approximately 50% clinic and 50% surgical/operative responsibilities.
Handle 30-50 patient encounters per clinic day.
Participate in shared orthopedic call rotation (approximately 1:7) at a Level I Trauma Center.
Collaborate with a large and experienced orthopedic team, including orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, medical assistants, and operational support staff.
Utilize MAKO robotic-assisted surgical technology for precision joint replacement procedures.
Obtain medical staff privileges at Desert Regional Medical Center and JFK Memorial Hospital.
