About The Position

OrthoVirginia, the premier orthopedic practice in Virginia, has opportunities for fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible orthopedic Spine Surgeons to join our practice in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma. Our practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a shareholding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy. This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity. As such, candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopedic call.

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained in Spine Surgery
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Trained to care for general orthopedic conditions
• MD or DO degree
• Active or eligibility for Virginia state licensure

Responsibilities

• Participate in general orthopedic call.
• Treat a full range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
• Perform spinal fusion (cervical, thoracic, lumbar).
• Perform disc replacement surgery.
• Perform laminectomy.
• Perform discectomy.
• Perform scoliosis correction.
• Perform kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty.
• Perform minimally invasive spine surgery.
• Perform spinal decompression.
• Treat spinal fractures.
• Manage spinal tumors and infections.
