About The Position

This private practice is seeking a new spine surgeon to see patients in an established office and surgery center, performing orthopedic spine surgeries. The practice specializes in a wide range of orthopedic conditions, taking a conservative, consultative approach with tailored treatment plans. The full details of the position are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the physician. The practice can offer 2 to 4 shifts per month, with opportunities for additional work in interventional pain procedures or traveling to out-of-state offices for spine work.

Requirements

• Arkansas medical license
• DEA
• Board Certified / Eligible, Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship, Spine Surgery

Nice To Haves

• Willingness to travel
• Willingness to oversee interventional pain procedures

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment
• Perform necessary surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries or symptoms
• Examine patients while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Obtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosis
• Provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients
• Monitor patients’ conditions and progress
• Reevaluate patients’ conditions and progress as necessary
• Support appropriate referrals
