About The Position

This private practice is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to see patients in an established office and surgery center, performing orthopedic spine surgeries. The practice specializes in a wide range of orthopedic conditions, with a focus on neck and spine issues. They offer a conservative, consultative approach with treatment plans tailored to individual patients. The role involves patient consultations, performing surgical procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing medical conditions, and monitoring patient progress. The full details of the position are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the physician. The practice can offer 2 to 4 shifts per month, with opportunities for additional work in interventional pain procedures or traveling to out-of-state offices.

Requirements

  • California medical license
  • DEA
  • Board Certified / Eligible, Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship, Spine Surgery

Responsibilities

  • Consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment
  • Perform necessary surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries or symptoms
  • Examine patients while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
  • Obtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosis
  • Provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients
  • Monitor patients’ conditions and progress
  • Reevaluate patients’ conditions and progress as necessary
  • Support appropriate referrals
