About The Position
Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Part Time Orthopedic Physician to join our team at Orthopedic Specialists on the Eastern Shore. This physician will provide high-quality orthopedic care in a collaborative clinical environment focused on excellent outcomes and community service.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Virginia
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Current DEA
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Collaborative approach with other physicians and providers
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide guidance to other medical staff
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive orthopedic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical care
- Perform orthopedic procedures consistent with training and specialty focus
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, physical therapy, and clinical staff
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and professional standards
