Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Full time dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our expert team at Riverside Urology Specialists in beautiful Newport News, Virginia. As part of our growing specialty network, you will collaborate with experienced, board-certified urologists who are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who is passionate about making a meaningful impact—providing the right care at the right time to enhance the health and well-being of the patients we serve.

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP): Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing required
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Virginia (or eligibility)
  • Board certification (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent)
  • DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances
  • Physician Assistant (PA): Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required
  • Current Virginia license (or eligibility)
  • NCCPA certification required
  • DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Basic computer skills and EMR proficiency
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in urology or related specialty preferred
  • Familiarity with managed care and Medicare populations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and patient assessments
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Provide patient education and counseling
  • Prescribe medications and evaluate treatment effectiveness
  • Accurately document clinical findings in the EMR
