About The Position

Heartline Staffing is recruiting an Orthopedic Physical Therapist for an on-site position in Dubuque, Iowa. This role will help develop and lead a growing orthopedic and regenerative rehabilitation program while providing one-on-one patient care in a cash-based practice environment. The position involves evaluating and treating patients using evidence-based orthopedic techniques, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and return-to-activity programming. The therapist will also help establish clinical protocols and best practices for regenerative therapies, mentor support staff, collaborate with the clinical team, and build community relationships through educational events, networking, and referral development. The environment is an on-site outpatient physical therapy practice with extended one-on-one treatment sessions, seeing approximately 7-8 patients per day, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation and active adults.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree REQUIRED
  • Current Iowa Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain Iowa licensure REQUIRED
  • Experience treating orthopedic conditions with confidence in return-to-activity or return-to-sport rehabilitation REQUIRED
  • Interest in regenerative therapies such as shockwave treatment REQUIRED
  • Ability and willingness to work on-site in Dubuque, IA REQUIRED
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the orthopedic and regenerative rehabilitation service line.
  • Provide one-on-one patient care with approximately 7–8 patients per day.
  • Evaluate and treat orthopedic conditions using evidence-based orthopedic techniques, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and return-to-activity programming.
  • Help establish clinical protocols and best practices for regenerative therapies, including shockwave treatment.
  • Mentor support staff and collaborate with the clinical team.
  • Build community relationships through educational events, networking, and referral development.
  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation.
