About The Position
Our busy orthopedic department is hiring an Orthopedic Technician. This role is ideal for individuals with a CNA, PCT, EMT, or kinesiology background who are looking for a hands-on patient care role outside of a hospital setting. Comprehensive training will be provided for all necessary skills, including applying and removing orthopedic casts and splints. The position is a vital part of the patient care team, and no prior experience in orthopedics is needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or HiSET
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Must love working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
Nice To Haves
- CNA, PCT, EMT, or kinesiology background
- Orthopedics and casting techniques experience
- CNA experience
Responsibilities
- Room patients and assist with office procedures
