About The Position
Our busy orthopedic department is hiring an Orthopedic Technician — and we’ll train you on everything you need to know. This role is ideal for individuals with a background as a CNA, PCT, EMT, or kinesiology graduate who are looking for a hands-on patient care role outside of a traditional hospital setting. The position offers on-the-job training, opportunities for pay advancement, and a supportive team environment with no weekend shifts. Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or HiSET
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
- Must love working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire
Nice To Haves
- CNA, PCT, EMT, or kinesiology background
- Orthopedics and casting techniques experience
- CNA experience
Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Assist with office procedures
- Apply and remove orthopedic casts and splints
- Be a vital part of the patient care team
