As a Full Time Medical Assistant at Missoula Bone & Joint and Surgery Center, you will have the opportunity to engage with patients both in person and over the phone, showcasing your excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor. You will play a crucial role in triaging patients, collecting and maintaining accurate health histories, ensuring pharmaceutical reconciliations are up to date, and obtaining vital signs to assist healthcare providers in delivering quality care. Additionally, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of exam rooms and autoclaving of tools as well as coordinating the patient's journey to wellness seamlessly. Your attention to detail and dedication to patient safety will be key in providing exceptional healthcare services in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant, RMA, EMT or LPN
  • Certification in medical assisting or licensure in the healthcare field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of casting and DME fitting
  • Proficiency in orthopedic terminology
  • Ability to triage medical concerns efficiently
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
