About The Position

An exciting opportunity is available for an Orthopaedic Service Registrar to join Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service. Working under the supervision of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, you will provide high-quality surgical care across inpatient, outpatient and perioperative services while contributing to teaching, quality improvement and multidisciplinary patient care. Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor of Medicine (or equivalent) and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Demonstrate appropriate post-graduate clinical experience.
• Possess excellent communication, teamwork and clinical decision-making skills.
• Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in orthopaedic surgery.
• Hold full Australian working rights.
• A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
• A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) is essential.
• Immunisation Risk for this position is Category A.
• SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy
