About The Position

DOCS Dental is seeking an Orthodontist to provide comprehensive care in a state-of-the-art private practice serving families of military members. The role offers clinical autonomy, opportunities to build lasting patient relationships, and the chance to work on military bases in a family-oriented environment with cutting-edge technology. The position is part-time and requires working 1–2 Saturdays per month, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Applicants must be able to obtain a Real ID before starting. A conditional offer requires a background check, including a criminal record check, and drug screening. DOCS Health uses E-Verify and is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

DDS or DMD from an accredited program with an Orthodontics specialty.
Active, unrestricted state dental license.
Proficiency in essential orthodontic procedures.
Ability to obtain a Real ID before starting.
Strong Microsoft Suite knowledge and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Manage workflow efficiently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities.
Greet and welcome patients warmly and help them feel comfortable and valued.
Conduct examinations and use X-rays and diagnostic tools to determine treatment plans.
Provide orthodontic treatment using fixed appliances, removable appliances, and aligners.
Adjust orthodontic appliances as needed and educate patients throughout treatment.
Build strong relationships with patients and provide a friendly, supportive experience.
