About The Position

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking an energetic and motivated Dental Assistant to join its dental practice and support patient oral health in a fast-paced environment. The assistant will help the dental team provide patient care, prepare and maintain treatment spaces, educate patients, assist dentists during procedures, perform basic procedures under a licensed dentist’s guidance, and help manage appointments and records. State-specific requirements apply before applying. Depending on the work state, these may include certification, CPR certification, formal X-ray training or authorization, EFDA certification, and state board certification or continuing education. In Michigan, evidence of X-ray training certification is required upon hiring, with an eight-week period to submit it if not already held. Georgia: CPR certification, EFDA certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
Massachusetts: CPR certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification, and completion of annual continuing education requirements under state regulations.
Michigan: furnish evidence of X-ray training certification upon hiring; if not certified at hiring, submit certification within eight weeks.
New Jersey: proof of X-ray training.
New York: no additional requirement specified.
Ohio: proof of formal training to expose X-rays, including an FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays.
Texas: CPR certification and TSBDE (Texas State Board of Dental Examiners) requirement.

Nice To Haves
