About The Position
Davis & Nyczepir Orthodontics is hiring a full-time Clinical Assistant to join its orthodontic team in Chesterfield, Virginia. The role supports orthodontists and helps ensure patients receive exceptional, compassionate care in a fast-paced, collaborative practice. The Clinical Assistant assists with patient treatments and adjustments, prepares and sterilizes instruments and treatment areas, takes dental X-rays, impressions, and digital scans, educates patients about oral hygiene and post-operative care, and maintains clinical inventory and supplies. The position is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, learning new skills, teamwork, and helping create positive patient experiences. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in dental or orthodontic assisting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification.
- X-ray certification, plus any required state credentials.
- Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate.
- Warm, positive attitude that helps patients feel at ease.
Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during patient treatments and adjustments.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas.
