About The Position

Kristo Orthodontics is seeking a caring, purpose-driven Orthodontic Assistant who takes pride in creating extraordinary patient experiences and delivering high-quality dental care. The role performs orthodontic procedures with the doctor, including preparing patients, assisting the Orthodontist, and completing chairside appointments while helping patients feel comfortable. The assistant follows practice policies and procedures and provides patients and families with orthodontic care instructions and dental health education. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position serving a multi-location practice in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Rice Lake, Black River Falls, Bloomer, and Stanley. Travel to all locations is required. The listed pay range is $19–$26, based on experience. The position has no evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for procedures, assist the Orthodontist during procedures, and finish the patient's appointment.
Review patient notes in advance to prepare for each procedure and identify the instruments needed.
Provide patients and families with orthodontic care instructions, dental health education, and diet recommendations.
Help patients and parents feel comfortable at each visit.
Communicate patients' treatment needs to appropriate clinic staff.
Take or order panorex X-rays for patient treatment.
