About The Position

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a Senior ORION Quality Inspector at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The role performs electronic or electro-mechanical assembly work supporting production units, developmental or prototype requirements, product development, manufacturing engineering, or preproduction operations, sometimes with limited documentation or guidance. The position works from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components, using standard electronic assembly tools and materials. Duties may also include inspecting modifications, rework, and quality testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience/combined education, plus specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical or para-engineering tasks.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to meet contract requirements.
• Must successfully complete a government background investigation.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of production units, developmental or prototype requirements, product development, manufacturing engineering, or preproduction operations.
• Construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components using schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions.
• Use standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
• Inspect modifications, rework, and quality testing, as applicable.
