About The Position

An Orientation and Mobility Specialist is responsible to the County Superintendent and works under the direct supervision of a designated special education manager. The Orientation and Mobility Specialist teaches individuals with vision disabilities, providing a program and instruction to promote cognitive; academic; communication and language; behavioral and social; and physical development.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential with an authorization in Orientation and Mobility.
  • If hired, must provide proof of a valid California Driver's License.
  • Credential Copy (Valid California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential with an authorization in Orientation and Mobility)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two Letters of Recommendation-signed and dated )
