About The Position

CareFlite is seeking a dynamic and experienced Orientation and FTO Supervisor to lead onboarding and field training initiatives for our ground clinical teams. This role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality, consistent orientation experience for all new hires, overseeing Field Training Officers (FTOs), and supporting the hiring process. This position is ideal for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about education, mentorship, and developing high-performing teams.

Requirements

• Current Texas EMT-Paramedic (EMT-P) certification
• Strong leadership, communication, and public speaking skills
• Experience collaborating across teams and departments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to obtain instructor certifications (AHA, NAEMT, EVOS, PHTLS, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• FP-C or CCP-C certification
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Previous clinical leadership or training experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage orientation programs for all new ground clinical employees
• Oversee and support Field Training Officers (FTOs), including selection, training, and performance feedback
• Ensure new hires are fully prepared for independent duty through structured onboarding and competency validation
• Collaborate with operations, clinical leadership, and recruiting to support hiring and onboarding processes
• Monitor the trainee's progress and ensure timely completion of training requirements
• Maintain and improve training quality through continuous evaluation and feedback
• Ensure compliance with all CareFlite policies, safety standards, and clinical guidelines
• Participate in candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring activities
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
