About The Position

CareFlite is seeking a dynamic and experienced Orientation and FTO Supervisor to lead onboarding and field training initiatives for our ground clinical teams. This role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality, consistent orientation experience for all new hires, overseeing Field Training Officers (FTOs), and supporting the hiring process. This position is ideal for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about education, mentorship, and developing high-performing teams.

Requirements

Current Texas EMT-Paramedic (EMT-P) certification
Strong leadership, communication, and public speaking skills
Experience collaborating across teams and departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to obtain instructor certifications (AHA, NAEMT, EVOS, PHTLS, etc.)

Nice To Haves

FP-C or CCP-C certification
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Previous clinical leadership or training experience

Responsibilities

Lead and manage orientation programs for all new ground clinical employees
Oversee and support Field Training Officers (FTOs), including selection, training, and performance feedback
Ensure new hires are fully prepared for independent duty through structured onboarding and competency validation
Collaborate with operations, clinical leadership, and recruiting to support hiring and onboarding processes
Monitor the trainee's progress and ensure timely completion of training requirements
Maintain and improve training quality through continuous evaluation and feedback
Ensure compliance with all CareFlite policies, safety standards, and clinical guidelines
Participate in candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring activities
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
