This role involves managing a team of organizers to engage constituents on democracy reform and action opportunities. The Organizing Project Director is responsible for the development, implementation, evaluation, and success of campaigns, including client relationships, staff management, timeline oversight, administrative systems, and motivating staff and communities. The ideal candidate has experience managing diverse teams, driving goals, and working within coalitions, and excels at running large-scale social change campaigns with urgent deadlines. Candidates must be based in Iowa or willing to relocate, with a strong preference for those with knowledge of the Iowa political landscape and experience in diverse communities. The position requires 40-60 hours per week, with potential for travel, and is expected to last through December 2026, with possible extension.
