About The Position

As the Organizational Engagement & Executive Communications Specialist, you will lead the intersection of organizational governance, strategic communications, and employee engagement, driving a high-performing culture and curating thought-provoking leadership experiences. This role goes beyond traditional communications; it is about building a dynamic and adaptive team environment, pioneering the use of AI-driven communication tools, and ensuring the Industrial System IT (IS IT) story is told with a 'wow factor' to both local and enterprise-wide audiences. You will manage the organizational heartbeat, ensuring that IS IT meetings, messages, and digital interactions drive meaningful engagement and professional excellence. Additionally, you will provide governance and communications support for additional ET teams as needed to ensure enterprise-wide alignment.

Requirements

  • 5 + years in facilitating senior leadership meetings and managing group dynamics.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple high-stakes events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to use digital platforms (Teams, Viva Engage) to build community and drive conversation.
  • Advanced creative design skills and an eye for graphic design; experience with video or creative assets is a plus.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to capture an executive’s "voice."
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint (administration level), Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Slido, BulkmailEx, and Staffbase.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging Generative AI, e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, to enhance writing, design, and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the weekly IS IT leadership meetings, curating agendas that drive engagement and challenge the leadership team with thought-provoking topics.
  • Use creative prompts to embed a culture-first mindset within the IS IT leadership team.
  • Act as the "conscience" of the leadership meeting, managing the clock, ensuring focus, and having the professional confidence to speak up when sessions need to pivot.
  • Partner with the IS IT strategy team to support the planning and execution of large-scale events such as Global Leadership Meetings (GLMs), All Hands Meetings, including logistics, materials, pre-work, and scribing.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of site visits and strategy sessions, ensuring a "Problem to Solve" focus and documenting actionable outcomes.
  • Provide secondary support for organization related All Hands Meetings.
  • Drive the strategic evolution and performance of organizational publications, including the monthly newsletter, by leveraging engagement analytics and creative storytelling to maximize reach and impact.
  • Drive active dialogue within the IS IT organization. Leverage MS Teams and Viva Engage communities to move beyond "one-way push" communications and encourage two-way dialogue.
  • Extend the visibility of IS IT achievements by managing a strategic social media presence, e.g., LinkedIn. Post and tag IS IT successes to build external awareness and attract talent.
  • Serve as the primary IS IT representative on the Global Editorial Team (GET), ensuring IS IT success stories are elevated to the broader ET organization.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of IS IT All Hands meetings, including communication plans, AV/webcast coordination, and driving interactive engagement, e.g., Slido, live Q&A, etc. to ensure a high-impact employee experience.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans for IS IT. Author and edit high-impact articles for ET's weekly newsletter and internal channels to ensure organizational successes are consistently elevated across Enterprise Technology.
  • Provide secondary support to execute org related Bulkmail messaging and internal article curation.
  • Elevate the "look and feel" of IS IT presentations for internal and external engagements. Create eye-catching executive-ready visuals that command attention.
  • Lead the integration of Generative AI tools to revolutionize organizational storytelling. Use AI for rapid content drafting, sentiment analysis of employee feedback, and the creation of high-impact visual and video assets.
  • Author and edit content that captures the Director’s "voice" while maintaining an impeccable bar for professionalism.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for confidential leadership SharePoint sites (LL4+), ensuring secure access and content integrity.
  • Oversee security access and badge coordination for the IS IT strategy rooms (Rotunda Center).
  • Utilize BulkmailEx and Staffbase to manage and distribute high-priority communications from leadership maintaining strict adherence to quality, timing, and administrative support requirements.
